Good-Bye Summertime

it's been a laid back summer

and i'm grateful that my boys have been content

to be home more than usual

they really have been delightful 

and understanding of me not feeling well

and of my lack of energy

it's back to getting up early, and packing lunches

and homework, and routine

 i think we're all ready for it

i'm just trying not to think too hard about baby #2

walking out the door tomorrow in his uniform
