Nine

years since we said "i do"

three precious boys
 countless priceless memories
many knock down drag outs

our God has been beyond faithful
I'm more in love now than I was then
more laughter, more sweetness

thanks for asking
thanks for loving me despite my ugly -- unconditionally
thanks for being a faithful disciple
thanks for being an amazing father--making it easy for our 3 to view Him as Father

I love you...here's to 9 x 9 more

(photo credits: Julie Stermasi--she used old fashioned film, so I had to take pictures of her pictures--and they don't do her work justice.  Motivation to finally get my prints digitized. :)

Two Worlds

silly bands and "little bear"

not too old, or too young

just the perfect mix of grown up, and still little

4th of July

this is our 6th year, so I think it can safely be called tradition
maybe it's the simplicity of it that makes it so special,
but it is one of my favorites

we've become quite a crew
5 more grandkids/cousins have been added since we started
coffee, doughnuts, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents...

Mark sat down with an old man today and chatted
as they watched the kids
I could hear echos of "youth is fleeting" in their conversation

I love this crew, and am grateful for the country that
they've been born into...

wish John, Summer, Isaiah, and Berlin lived closer
